General purpose dual timer ILC556N/D is designed to be used: as high-precision pulse oscillator with adjustable frequency and on-o ff time ratio; for producing accurate time delays using external resistors and capacitors; as a tim er in domestic appliances, in measuring equipment, computers; as funct ional units in electronic in struments. Th e tim er m ay b e u sed as o scillator producing accurate time delays and frequencies.
ORDERING INFORMATION
TA = -20° to 70° C for all packages In astable m ode the pulse width of each circuit is controlled by one external resi stor and capaci tor. In m onostable m ode, when used as oscillator, its o wn freq uency o f o scillation an d on-off time ratio are controlled by two external resistors and one capacitor. Unlike bi polar t imer, C ONTROL VOLTAGE out put does not require any capacitor decoupling. TRIGGER, RESET inputs are active as per l ow l evel. Out put i nverter provi des suffi cient drai n and source currents to control TTL-loads, a nd provides m inimum bias when controlling C MOS-loads. Input vol tage l evels are com patible with standard CMOS levels.

- Supply voltage range: from 2.0 to 18V.
- Input current: 50, 100 pA at T=25 °С.
