The UL-approved vent drains also function as an air pressure equalizer, reducing the harmful effects of temperature-induced vacuums that could pull water and moisture into the enclosure.

If the temperature of the enclosure is 85 F and the relative humidity is 80 percent, Dew Point is reached at a temperature of 78 F or below. This means that moisture vapor will condense on any surface that is below the Dew Point temperature of 78 F.
