Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) Pan-Ty ® Cable Ties and Mounts PEEK Cable Ties and mounts are ideal for use in high temperature and harsh chemical environments. PEEK is a dimensionally stable material that offers an excellent tensile rating with an operating temperature up to 500°F (260°C). It is halogen free and has a UL94V-0 flammability rating, generating low smoke and toxicity upon burn, contributing to improved workplace safety. It has excellent chemical resistance to almost all organic and inorganic chemicals and is extremely resistant to high levels of gamma radiation for a long-term bundling solution. PEEK cable ties and mounts can be used in a broad range of applications and environments including Oil and Gas, Automotive and Aerospace. www.panduit.com Technical Information UL 94V-0 1 x 109 Rads Yes Yes Key Features Benefits Operating temperature range up to 500°F (260°C); maintains good tensile strength in high temperature environments Withstands attack from most organic and inorganic chemicals; able to be used in harsh chemical environments, providing a long-term bundling solution Maintains mechanical properties when exposed to high levels of gamma radiation; maintains tensile properties, providing longer useful life Non-hygroscopic material provides excellent moisture resistance; won’t absorb water in humid/steam environments; maintains dimensional stability and tensile strength Non-metallic material provides an alternative to conductive fasteners; safe to use where a non-conductive material is specified and/or required Provides maximum stability for the cable bundle Easy to pick up from flat surfaces; allows faster threading Keeps bundle close to mounting surface where overhead space is limited Emits very low smoke and gas upon burn; does not easily ignite when exposed to a flame source; safe material to use in enclosed spaces Threads easily and installs quickly compared to lacing cord, which requires time consuming, hand-tied knots that can lead to repetitive strain injuries Mount Material Cable Tie High Temperature Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) material Halogen-free material UL94V-0 flammability rating Chemical resistant material Gamma radiation resistant material Low water absorption Good electrical isolation propertiesCurved tip – applicable sizes Cable tie design Mount cradle design Low profile design UL flammability Oxygen index Radiation resistance Continuous use temperature Halogen free RoHS compliant
