- Vibration D am pening G ap Filler 1400SL is a tw o-part, therm ally conductive, silicone based, liquid gap filling m aterial. This m aterial has an extrem ely low viscosity to enable self-leveling and filling of voids resulting in excellent therm al transfer. U nlike cured therm al pad m aterials, a liquid approach offers infinite thickness variations w ith little or no stress to the sensitive com ponents during assem bly. A s cured, G ap Filler 1400SL provides a soft, therm ally conductive, form -in-place elastom er that is ideal for fragile assem blies and filling unique and intricate gaps. G ap Filler 1400SL exhibits low level natural tack characteristics and is intended for use in applications w here a strong structural bond is not required. D ispensing D ue to its low viscosity nature, G ap Filler 1400SL w ill settle upon storage. Each container m ust be thoroughly m ixed before com bining Part A and Part B via static m ixer and dispensing into application. T ypical A pplications:
