µP Temperature Monitoring in High-Speed Computers Temperature Control Temperature Alarms Fan Control Automotive General Description The G705 are fully integrated, resistor programmable temperature switches with thresholds set by an ex- ternal resistor. They require only one external resis- tor to set the temperature threshold within a wide 0°C to +125 °C temperature range. The G705 pro- vides an open-drain, active low output. These switches operate with a +4V to +5.5V single supply while providing a temperature threshold accuracy of ±0.5°C (TYP) or ±3.5°C (MAX) or ±3°C (60 °C to +100°C). They typically consume 33 µA supply cur- rent. Hysteresis is pin selectable to 10 °C or 30°C. The G705 are available in 5-pin SOT-23 packages.
