100G Switching for Data Center Fabric and Central Office Minipack AS8000 Open Modular Platform The Edgecore Minipack AS8000 open modular platform meets the high performance and high capacity 100G networking requirements for high-radix 100G and 100G data center architectures, next generation leaf/spine fabrics in CORD deployments, Ethernet services aggregation, internet exchanges and service provider central offices. The Minipack AS8000 provides full line-rate switching at Layer 2 and Layer 3 across 100 GbE ports. The open modular platform, lowers equipment cost and power consumption, simplifies cabling, and supports independent NOS and SDN soſtware.
