Non contractual documentation – Firelec can improve the design or the specifications of the product described herein without prior notification FC8308 Page 1/2 Bulletin Rev : 201 8_01 FC8308 8 slots - mounting panel for galvanic isolating modules of the FC series Description: The panels of the FC8308 series provides mounting and connection facilities for the FC series isolating modules. (Modules can be mixed on the same panel) It allows to install and connect up to 8 FC series modules to a Distributed Control System (DCS), or a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) providing them a 24Vdc power supply. For redundancy purpose, two power supplies can be connected on the panel using the terminal TB1. Each power supply status is monitored on the panel by two green LEDs (primary et secondary). The connection to I/O card of the DCS/PLC is done using:

  • One shielded cable with a SUBD25 female connector at one side and a suitable connector or free flying wires matching with the I/O card Terminal Block at the other side (model FC8308-1).
  • Two shielded cables with a SUBD9 female connector at one side and a su itable connector or free flying wires matching with the I/O card Terminal Block at the other side (model FC8308-2).
  • One shielded cable with a SUBD37 female connector at one side and a suitable connector or free flying wires matching with the I/O card Terminal Block at the other side (model FC8308-1). The connection of signals coming from the field is done directly on the FC module itself.
