DESCRIPTION

The ETA2360 is a wide input range, high-efficiency, high frequency DC-to-DC step-down switching regulator, capable of delivering up to 0.3A of output current. With a fixed switching frequency of 1.4MHz, this current mode PWM controlled converter allows the use of small external components, such as ceramic input and output caps, as well as small inductors, while still providing low output ripples. It also maintains its switching frequency above 1MHz even at very low output current to keep it away from the PLC frequency, which is normally 500KHz. Together with the tiny package ETA2360 is in, without external compensation components, it is an ideal solution for system designer with stringent board space requirements. ETA2360 also employs a proprietary control scheme that switches the device into a power save mode during light load, thereby extending the range of high efficiency operation. ETA2360 is available SOT23-6 Packages.
