ES1500A ADDITIONAL HANDSET REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS This additional handset has been designed to operate with the ES1510A telephone system. Please refer to your ES1510A user’s manual for instructions on general functionality. Package Contents

Setting up your ES1500A Additional Handset The position in which you place the ES1500A charger could have an effect on the range and performance of your ES1500A. Plug the mains power cable into the charger base, plug the other end into the mains power wall socket and switch the power on. NOTE Ensure the power cord is fed through the slot on the charger so the unit sits flush with the desk. 2. To fit the NiMH battery into the handset, slide open the battery compartment cover. Place the supplied rechargeable battery in the battery compartment, with the battery connector plugged in, as shown. Slide the battery compartment cover back on until it clicks into place. 3. Place the handset on the charger to charge for at least 16 hours. A beep sounds when the handset is properly placed on the base or charger. Mains power wall socket Mains power cable
Register an additional handset through the menu Registering an Additional Handset The additional handset must be registered to your ES1510A telephone base before use. Register your handset according to the following procedures. Press and hold on the base station for about five seconds, the base station is entered into registration mode. Press and / to select REGISTRATION. Press and you are requested to enter the 4-digit system PIN (default PIN is 0000). Enter the 4-digit system PIN. Press to confirm. If the handset registration is successful, you will hear a confirmation tone and the will stop flashing. The handset will automatically be allocated the next available handset number. This handset number is shown in the handset display in standby mode. If the handset registration is unsuccessful, the will still flash. NOTES Additional handsets are assigned numbers in the sequential order they are registered. You cannot register a handset if any other system handset is in use.
