The short jaw length increases the strength of the hold. The serrated surface on the jaw increases its holding capacity. The 6012 is equipped with an ESD Ergo-tek handle which allows an excellent grip, suitable to environments and to components susceptible to electrostatic discharge. The jaws are hardened to 45HRC hardness.
