The exter - nal termination is intended to be a 180 Ω resis - tor from the bus to the +5V logic supply together with a 390 Ω resistor from the bus to the ground. The Am7838 features four totally sepa - rate drive/receiver pairs per package. The 1V typical receiver input hysteresis is independent of receiver output load.
