Data Sheet Date: 18-11-2010 Adjustable Reamers Adjustable reamers are suitable for accurately finishing previously drilled holes to an exact size. The 6 hardened steel blades sit in tapered keyways and expand as they are repositioned along the length of the reamer body. Measuring across the blades along the Parallel Cutting Length (L3) with a micrometer checks adjustment progress of the reamer. Screwed end caps finally clamp the blades in the required finish size position.
