The ceramic r ods ar e fitted with end caps to which ar e welded the termin ation wir es. Finally , a specially formulated high voltage epoxy coating is applied and the r esistors ar e marked. The body pr otection and marking ar e r esistant to al l normal industrial cleaning solvents suitable for printed c ir c uits. E l e c t r i c a l D a t a * T olerance applies to date of manufactur e. As in a ll carbon composition parts value drift in storage is possible. This is typi cally 3% in one year and 5% in 2 years. Resistors wi th 20% tolerance have thr ee bands indicating value, and r e sistors with 5% and 10% tolerance have four bands indicating val ue and tolerance in accor dance with IEC62.
