DESCRIPTION

The Accutek family of AccuZIP DRAM adapter modules is designed to convert a DRAM in a surface mount SOJ package into a side-mounted ZIP package. This pin compatible module eliminates PC board retooling when monolithic ZIP packages become unavail- able. These AccuZIP modules can be used to save space on com- plex circuit boards using thru-hole technology. The family consists of a series of unique low-profile printed circuit boards designed to accept IC’s in either 0.300" SOJ packages for the 256K x 4, 1 MEG x 4, 1 MEG x 1 and 4 MEG x 1 or 0.400" SOJ packages for the 512K x 8, 256K x 16, 256K x 18, 1 MEG x 16 and 1 MEG x 18.
