A pulse picker is a high-speed acousto-optic modulator that picks out individual laser pulses in a pulse train for reshaping and amplification. Coherent’s AO-picker has a very fast response time, less than 10ns, to ensure that the client successfully picks a single light pulse. The interior is also equipped with a special extinction structure, so it has a good extinction ratio.
