Description

The ELPR O 91 5U ‑ 2 W ireless Mesh Net working I/O and Gate way is a multiple I/O node that e xtends communications to sensors and act uators in local, remote, or dif ficult‑to‑reach locations. Designed with a long‑range, license ‑ free wireless transceiv er, the 915U‑2 can pro vide IP‑ based mesh net working across sprawling industrial en vironments t ypical of industrial applications. Capable of ad ‑ hoc mesh net working, roaming and discovery, as w ell as deterministic mesh, the 91 5U‑2 can ser ve as an end node, a routing node, or a network gate way. Scalable to thousands of nodes, its gather‑ scatter and bloc k mapping tec hnology of fers efficient utilization of net work resources and eases integration into comple x monitoring and control systems. Integrated Modbus® ser ver capabilit y allo ws further I/O expansion through the use of ELPR O 1 15S expansion modules. The 91 5U ‑ 2XM is a f actory hardw are option that provides 20 0 MB of e xtended internal flash memor y specifically f or use with the logging sof t f eature k ey option. Sof t f eature options are a vailable f or the 91 5U‑2 and 91 5U ‑ 2XM, including Modbus TCP and logging . These are purc hased separately and can be enabled as required via a code pro vided.
