U nlike conventional supplies with fixed output ratings, these m ulti-range power supplies autom atically recalculate voltage and current lim its for each setting, providing full output power in any Volt/Am p com bination within the rated voltage and current lim its. For benchtop applications, this series provides a num erical keypad for direct data entry along with convenient cursors and analog style knobs to quickly m ake increm ental voltage or current changes. System integrators benefit from the standard U SB (U SBTM C -com pliant), RS-2 32 , G PIB, RS-4 85, and LAN (9 1 1 7 only) interfaces supporting SCPI com m ands. Alternatively, users can control the power supply, execute test sequences or log m easurem ents using the provided PC software application. This software also integrates with D ata D ashboard for LabVIEW apps enabling iO S, Android or W indows 8 com patible tablets or sm art phones to rem otely m onitor select m easurem ent indicators. The 9 1 1 5-AT provides autom otive power test waveform s com pliant to D IN 4 0839 and ISO 1 6750-2 standards that can sim ulate com m on test conditions for electrical and electronic devices installed in autom obiles.

w w w .bkprecision.com M ulti-Range Program m able D C Pow er Supplies The power supply output voltage and current can be controlled from zero to full range by either external D C voltage sources (0-5 V or 0- 1 0 V) or resistances (0-5 k Ω or 0-1 0 k Ω). The D B2 5 analog control interface also provides a source for m onitoring the voltage and current output. Parallel Configuration Series Configuration
- Rem ote m onitoring on iO S, Android or W indows 8 com patible tablets or sm art phones via N I D ata D ashboard for LabVIEW apps. Q uickly develop a custom dashboard consisting of one (sm art phone) or several (tablet) indicators, charts or gauges to m onitor your power supply.
- Log voltage, current and power values as well as tim e stam p, CV/CC and output status.
- Save and load list files to/from the power supply’s internal m em ory.
- Create an unlim ited num ber of external list files to be executed from PC m em ory. Save and recall list files to/from the PC. A pplication softw are M aster/Slave operation External analog control interface M ore than one unit of the sam e power supply m odel can be connected in parallel or series connection to increase the overall current or voltage output respectively. U sing the RS-4 85 interface, the power supplies can operate in m aster/slave m ode. In this m ode, the m aster unit can control all other power supplies connected in parallel or series. Additionally, the RS-4 85 interface can be used for m ulti-unit control of up to 31 daisy chained units. The power supply is capable of program m ing the slope of the output voltage during changes between voltage settings by allowing users to set the rising and falling edge tim es of the voltage. The list m ode feature lets users store, recall, and run program sequences in the power supply’s internal m em ory. A total of 1 0 steps can be configured for each sequence (up to 1 0). These sequences can then be saved into a program configuration that can run one sequence after another, which allows for a m axim um of 1 00 steps in one program configuration. Program m able voltage rise/fall tim es Test sequence execution in list m ode (m odels 9115, 9115-AT, and 9116 only) Easy-to-use interface The num eric keypad, rotary knobs, and cursors provide an easy way to set output levels quickly and precisely. W ith a push of a button, the display can be conveniently toggled between set and m easured voltage and current values. Additionally, the power supplies provide internal m em ory for storage of up to 1 00 different instrum ent settings that can be set and recalled via both the front panel and rem ote interfaces. Flexible operation PC software is provided for front panel em ulation, generating and executing test sequences or logging m easurem ent data without the need to write source code. Additionally, this application software integrates with N I D ata D ashboard for LabVIEW apps which allows users to create a custom dashboard on a tablet com puter or sm art phone to rem otely m onitor 9 1 1 5 Series power supplies via this PC software.

The 9 1 1 5-AT can output a 1 2 V or 2 4 V system voltage sequence, which sim ulates the behavior in supply voltage reduction caused by an engine starter m otor circuits (Fig. 1 ). Verify the reset behavior of your D U T at various voltage drops. Verify the behavior of a D U T during and after cranking. ISO 16 750-2 In order to ensure electronic system s used in a vehicle are able to function in an autom otive environm ent, autom otive com ponent m anufacturers test electronic m odules to industry standards. The 9 1 1 5-AT provides built-in sim ulations com pliant to these autom otive test standards to help autom ate and speed up developm ent tim e. This standard applies to electric and electronic system s/com ponents for vehicles. It describes the potential environm ental conditions and specifies tests and requirem ents recom m ended for the specific m ounting location on/in the vehicle. These test sim ulations include m easurem ent of discontinuities in supply voltage, voltage drops, tests applicable to equipm ent with reset functions, and tests to insure m odules do not m alfunction during an engine start routine with cranking.
