July, 2017 3M™ Scotch® Filament Tape 893 Product Description Scotch® Filament Tape 893 is a general-purpose packaging tape reinforced along its length with continuous glass-yarn laments, which give the tape high tensile strength. The transparent polypropylene backing provides excellent abrasion, moisture and scu resistance. The adhesive is an aggressive rubber adhesive specically formulated to provide balanced performance having both high adhesion and long term holding power. Product Features

Application of Scotch® Filament Tape 893 is most easily accomplished at room temperature. At colder temperatures, approaching 32°F (0°C), the adhesive becomes rmer. Once applied, Scotch® Tape 893 performs well throughout the normal temperature ranges typically encountered by packaged products in shipping and storage environments. Storage and Shelf Life
