Significantly reduced thermal, transverse and base strain sensitivities compared to conventional compressive designs. Advanced hybrid electronics allow for sensitivities to 200 mV/g and a frequency response out to 10 kHz. M1 versions offer ground isolation. M5 versions are rated for high temperature (330¡F), while M8 versions are for low temperature, cryogenic (Ð320¡F) applications. Some 8704B(X) accelerometers are also rated for high g or shock applications up to 5,000g.
