- N o disassem bly required . Instead, the installer sim ply pushes the conduit or tubing onto the ferrule, then tightens the dom ed sealing nut. This com pleted assem bly can then be secured in the panel by the locknut or into an N PT threaded hole.
- C onvex ferrule ensures liquid tight seal.
- N o threading of the conduit or tubing is required to install. This elim inates the possibility of cutting the conduit and creating leak paths.
- C om plete conduit/connector system is reusable. C onduit w ill not w ind tight onto the connector during assem bly and can be easily rem oved by pulling w hile turning in a clockw ise direction.
- M ultiple sizes for use w ith H eyco-Flex C onduit and Tubing. See pages 2-7 and 2-8.
- Suitable for indoor/outdoor use; for original equipm ent m anufacturers or field installers.
- U se of a sealing w asher m ay be required for w et locations. See page 2-1 9 .
- A ll nylon construction resists salt w ater, w eak acids, gasoline, alcohol, oil, grease, and com m on solvents. (This feature is not assessed by U L certification and testing.)
- If using a tapped hole, Teflon ® tape is needed on the threads of the connector, for all other applications an O -ring and Locknut are needed to attain liquid tight.
- Black connectors up to 1 ˝ provided w ith nylon locknut, packed separately. O -ring sold separately, see page 2-20.
- Black connectors larger than 1 ˝ and all gray connectors provided w ith assem bled O -ring and m etal locknuts.
