Industrial Specification Grade Locking Plugs and Connectors Only Cooper Wiring Devices offers tough Industrial Specification Grade plugs and connectors in two different cable clamping designs to meet your every need. All our AutoGrip ® and Safety Grip® nylon devices are high performance connecting products for use in high abuse areas such as industrial plants, institutional locations and commercial job sites. They meet or exceed the latest requirements of industry performance standards and design standards such as NEMA, ANSI, UL, and Federal Specifications/GSA. Nearly all of Cooper’s locking devices are Underwriters’ Laboratories (UL) Listed and most are also CSA certified or available as CSA certified. Industrial Specification Grade Hart-Lock® Locking Devices Heavy duty, glass reinforced, high temperature, nylon body reduces breakage. Heat stabilized material suitable for 105°C/221°F continuous use. Body material meets UL 175 C.T.I. test. Rugged heavy duty mounting strap. Double riveted to body for added strength. One piece brass alloy contacts provide excellent plug retention and continuity in the grounding and power circuits. Compact body design allows for adequate wire room in wallbox. Heavy interior walls provide additional support to insure contact retention. Back and side wired terminal design allows for fast installation. Large 10-32 power contact screws assure easy, efficient installation. Serrated terminal plates bite wire to insure strong, reliable wiring connections.

Industrial Specification Grade 15A Hart-Lock® Locking Plugs and Connectors Industrial Specification Grade 20 & 30A Hart-Lock® Locking Plugs and Connectors Dual range cord grip secures cord without crushing.Neoprene cord hole seal prevents dirt, moisture, metal chips from entering terminal area. Nylon body designed for high abuse areas, suitable for 70°C/158°F continuous use. Back wired construction provides for fast wiring. Complies with Dead-Front NEC requirements on plug. Individual wire pockets contain stranded wire. Dead-Front construction. Heavy-duty safety grip external cord grip with fast-driving screws provides positive cord gripping and limits strain on conductors. Dust and moisture cord seal limits entry of contaminants into terminal compartment. Back wire terminals have lead-in tapers for ease of wiring. High-strength, nylon construction for long life in tough applications. Serrated terminal plates and contoured terminal clamps ‘‘bite’’ on the conductors for positive termination. All-brass terminal screws and clamps for low- resistance conductor terminations.

Power-Lock® Locking Devices Power-Lock devices are designed for the high abuse of heavy-duty industrial, petrochemical, marine and construction applications. These units come in a complete line of plugs, connectors, receptacles, and accessories in 20, 30 and 60 ampere, 2-pole, 3-wire; 3-pole, 4-wire and 4-pole, 5-wire configurations. Heavy-duty 30A Power-Lock® Tapered cord grip cover prevents cord snagging. Unique twist type cover eliminates assembly screws. High impact nylon shell and glass-filled nylon interior virtually eliminates breakage in high abuse installations. Neoprene gasket seals cord entry hole and prevents dust and moisture from entering terminal area. Automatic cord clamping fingers provide exceptional cord retention. Back wired clamp type terminals provide fast easy wiring. Totally insulated design eliminates exposed metal parts.

Hart-Lock® 50 Amp AutoGripTM Plugs and Connectors Neoprene gland seals to protect interior. Nylon AutoGrip clamps firmly on a wide variety of cord sizes to provide a strong, positive cord grip without need for additional clamping. Tapered shell design makes AutoGrip plugs and connector less vulnerable to snagging on debris or other obstacles at construction sites. Ribbed housing surfaces provide improved gripping and handling in any environment. Deep, tapered wire wells are clearly marked X, W, Y and GREEN for easy insertion and isolation of solid or stranded wires. Rolled steel shrouds add strength and resist corrosion. One press of the quick-release lock frees caps for easy, screw-off removal. Clearly marked plug and connector faces provide amperage, voltage, wiring configuration, and catalog number for easy identification. Large terminal lugs grip conductors securely, are easy to access, and come already backed out to speed up installation. Back wired construction provides for easy installation, dependable conductor termination. All plugs and connectors accept up to #6 wire.
