September, 2014 3M™ Clean-View Pad 5850 Product Description 3M™ Clean-View Pad 5850 is an adhesive coated polyethylene lm layered to form a pad of 20 removable sheets and designed for protection of windows and light xtures from dirt and from chemical or paint over-spray. Product Features

  • Padded polyethylene construction for easy removal of layers after painting or priming.
  • Low prole construction for ease of handling when applying.
  • Individually tabbed and numbered sheets remove quickly and easily, exposing a clean sheet ready for immediate use.
  • Acrylic adhesive for no adhesive transfer and easy clean-up after pad is completely used.
  • Not specically designed to resist chemicals, but do oer some resistance to short term exposure of several common industrial chemicals:

  • Protection for windows and lights against over-spray during priming, coating, or painting.
  • Protection from dirt – an alternative to washing windows in locations with circulating dust and dirt. Application Techniques
  • Easy to install by simply removing the protective liner, then adhere to a clean and dry surface. To remove a sheet contaminated with paint over-spray, pull the tabbed corner downward to remove and reveal the next clean sheet.
  • Pad adheres to most surfaces. Storage and Shelf Life Store under normal conditions of 60°F to 80°F (16°C to 27°C) and 40 to 60% R.H. in the original carton.
