The m eters are also capable of m easuring frequency, period, continuity, and perform ing diode tests. Readings can be taken at a m axim um rate of 25 readings/sec with m easurem ent rates selectable between slow, m edium , and fast. Thes m ultim eters were designed for cost-conscious users requiring a basic and dependable m eter with a broad range of features offered at a value price. 2 w w w .bkprecision.com True RM S Bench M ultim eters M odels 2831E and 5491B Versatile tools L The 28 3 1E and 5 491B are program m able via U SB and RS23 2 (5 491B only) interface using industry standard SC PI com m ands. U sers can control and configure the instrum ent from a rem ote PC and retrieve m easurem ent results for further analysis. The m eters can also be rem otely controlled using application software (download - able from the B & K website), which supports front panel em ulation and data logging of m easurem ent results. Increase Productivity w ith PC Connectivity The lim it operation lets you set and control the values that determ ine a H I / IN / LO status of subsequent m easurem ents. The m eter can be configured to em it an audible alarm when readings are outside of the configured lim it. Lim it O peration Rear panel These m eters offer a dual display allowing m ultiple m easurem ents to be conveniently displayed at once. The display values could be two different m easurem ents or one m easurem ent expressed in different units. For exam ple, you can sim ultaneously read an AC voltage and a frequency value or a D C voltage value expressed in volts and in dB .
