3M™ Sandblast Stencil Products consist of a tan rubber backing; and feature a double liner design for optimum support of center of letters, numbers and designs patterns. The double liner includes a yellow, translucent polyester inner liner to provide heightened visibility of cut designs during positioning and blasting. Variety of liners and hole punch styles available to meet plotter requirements. - Clear, polyester outer, release liners of 3M sandblast stencil product 519YP and 519YP2 series allows for faster stencil to stone alignment and cleaner hole punching and tracking through computer plotters.
- Polypropylene outer, release liner of 3M sandblast stencil product 519Y series provides a more conformable product to run through computer plotters. Application Ideas • Protects granite, marble, wood and other stone surfaces during sandblasting operation, stencil should be rubbed down firmly to achieve maximum adhesion.
- 3M™ Sandblast Stencil Products should be applied to a warm, clean and dry surface. When the stencil is applied to cold stone surfaces it is possible for condensation to form as the stone warms. Condensation can affect the performance of the stencil’s adhesive system.
- 3M™ Sandblast Filler #2 can be used on polished surfaces if increased adhesion is desired.
- 3M™ Sandblast Filler #3 can be used on axed or frosted surfaces if increased adhesion is desired. Storage Store under normal conditions of 60° to 80°F (16° to 27°C) and 40 to 60% relative humidity in the original packaging material.. Shelf Life To obtain best performance, use this product within 12 months from date of manufacture.
