- Place the buffer stripping tool and fiber assembly into the slot.
- Close the lid and slide the blade backwards until it locks into place.
- Open the blade and remove the cleaved fiber. Dispose of the scrapped piece of fiber. Jacket Stripper
- Insert cable through the stripper to the desired measurement and squeeze the handle.
- Remove the cable from the stripper and slide the jacket off the fiber by hand. Fiber Stripper
- Select correct strip size: 125 µm, 250 µm, or 900 µm.
- Place fiber inside stripper and squeeze tool until it stops.
- For 900 µm, release tool and pull jacket off by hand. For 125 µm and 250 µm keep the tool compressed and pull the fiber through the stripper to remove the coating. Note: Angle tool to keep fiber straight while stripping. Note: Longer sections of 250 um may need to be stripped in sections rather than all at once.
