March, 2019 Scotch® Flatback Masking Tape 250 Product Description Scotch® Flatback Masking Tape 250 is used for adhesion testing of paint and coatings. It was designed for bundling and holding applications where a stronger paper backing and aggressive adhesive are needed. Product Features

  • Aggressive rubber adhesive provides instant adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces.
  • Certied to minimum 60 oz/inch adhesion to steel per ASTM D-3330 Method A.
  • Lot code and date printed in the core.
  • Treated at stock backing has good tensile strength to resist breakage.
  • Not recommended for outdoor exposure as it may become dicult to remove.

  • Scotch® Flatback Masking Tape 250 can be certied to meet ASTM D 6123 / D 6123M-97.
  • PPP-T42C Type II and CID-A-A-883B are obsolete standards which have been replaced by ASTM D 6123 / D 6123M-97.
  • 3M no longer qualies Scotch® Flatback Masking Tape 250 to meet the inactive specication MIL-F-18264D. Aging and Humidity Graphs Storage and Shelf Life Store under normal conditions of 60° to 80°F (16° to 27°C) and 40 to 60% R.H. in the original carton.
