June, 2015 3M™ Premium High Temperature Masking Tape 2393 Product Description 3M™ Premium High Temperature Masking Tape 2393 is a smooth, heavy duty, mini-crepe, premium high temperature masking tape. It is specically designed for those applications where easy removal after bake is important. This masking tape oers excellent paint mask performance with high solids paints and clear coats used in the transportation industry. Product Features

  • Can be certied to ASTM D-6123/D-6123M-97 upon request. (replaces obsolete PPP-T-42C,Type I, and (CID-A-A-883B).
  • The adhesive oers excellent adhesion to and easy removability from both metal and plastic substrates.
  • Excellent high temperature performance, removes cleanly.
  • The smoothness of the backing makes this tape very “user friendly.”
  • Rubber adhesive with instant adhesion that sticks easily and allows fast application.
  • Excellent holding power that resists lifting or curling and helps reduce rework.
  • Conformability and easy handling that reduces time involved.
  • Special backsize treatment that controls unwind, and helps reduce waste.
  • The balanced construction with a stronger backing gives this tape easy removal properties without slivering.
  • Low unwind reduces workers’ fatigue.
  • Tape may become dicult to remove if subjected to prolonged outdoor exposure
