19200-00 MX856 8 Lead SOIC 19241-00 MX856 SOIC on Tape & Reel General Description The MX856 and MX857 are high sp eed single channel leve l shifte rs wit h complim entary outp ut drivers. The MX856 f eatures a 5.0V V CC positive supply, and the MX85 7 features a 3.3V V CC positive supply. The input buffers accept digital TTL or CMOS level signals, amplifies them to the V CC and GND supply rails, and ge nerates com plementary outputs. The translator le vel shifts th ese output signals by amplifying them to the VCC and VEE supply rails. The output d rivers then b uffer the sig nals to V OPT and VEE. VOPT may be set within the ra nge of V CC and G ND. The o utput drivers al so adju st the complimentary signals for minimized skew error. The MX8 56 and MX8 57 are designed to ope rate over a temp erature range of -40°C to +85° C, and are avail able as die in wafer form, di e in waffle pack, 8 l ead SOIC p ackage, and SOI C o n Ta pe and Reel.
