DESCRIPTION

The Firelite Alarms 411 Series Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitters are compact, multifaceted and designed for a variety of fire applications. The Model 411 provides three (3) monitoring channels (inputs) while the Model 411UD provides four (4) monitoring channels. The 411 Series are a cost-effective solution for applications requiring an existing (or new) fire alarm control to transmit system status to an off-site monitoring facility for Central or Remote Station (DACT) compliance per NFPAStandard 72. The transmitters provide fifteen (15) selectable transmission formats, including Ademco Contact ID, for compatibility with virtually all Digital Alarm Communicator Receivers (DACR). In addition to vital system status of the main control panel, the 411 Series is capable of transmitting DACT Trouble, Telephone line 1 and 2 V oltage Faults, Primary or Secondary Central Station Communication Faults, System Off-normal, 24-hour Normal Test and 24-hour Abnormal Test. The transmitters are new long-distance Carrier Access Code (CAC) compliant, accepting up to 20-digit Central Station telephone numbers. They also have the industry-first UL Recognized “dialer runaway” prevention feature. Programming may be accomplished on-site with a Model PRO-411 hand-held programmer. The 411UD can also be programmed remotely with the optional PK-411UD Windows ® based remote upload/download software package. The software also permits system interrogation and revision from a remote site. The transmitter is housed in a compact cabinet measuring deep, allowing it to be mounted inside or adjacent to the fire alarm control cabinet. Two modular phone connections are accessible with the cover in place and provide connections for two separate telephone lines using standard RJ31X or RJ38X jacks. Both lines are constantly supervised for proper voltage and current. Should one phone line go into fault and the other remain operational, a report is sent to the central or remote station. Diagnostic LEDs are as follows: /c183Communication Fail (Visible with cover in place) /c183DACT Trouble (Visible with cover in place) /c183Channel Active (Visible with cover in place) /c183Primary Phone Line active (411UD) /c183Secondary Phone Line Active (411UD) /c183Modem Active (411UD)
