INTRODUCTION The mini torque wrenches listed in Figure 1 are used to properly install or disassemble the described connectors. Figure 1 also lists the previous part numbers of the wrenches, description and size, and preset torque for each wrench. NOTE units in brackets]. Figures and illustrations are for reference only and are not drawn to scale. Reasons for reissue of this instruction sheet are provided in Section 5, REVISION SUMMARY. 2. DESCRIPTION Each mini torque wrench consists of a protective cover, torque wrench, and a “fillister head” screw (which permits replacement or change of various wrench heads). Type A wrench is equipped with an open-end head, and Type B wrench is equipped with a partially- closed socket head and extension arm. Refer to Figure 2 for head and extension arm replacement part numbers. The wrenches are designed to be used in the clockwise or counterclockwise direction.
