Bi-Directional IEEE 1284 Parallel Cables Many PCs and printers have high speed capability; giving superior performance levels. Greater transmission speeds are now possible with these IEEE 1284 specified, double shielded, cables. Essentially, these parallel printer cables provide exceptional reliability and are designed for use with most current parallel printers. Currently, the IEEE 1284 standard incorporates three enhanced interface connectors; Type A Connector: 25 way D Plug Type B Connector: 36 way Centronics Plug Type C Connector: Micro 36 way Centronics Plug Most IEEE 1284 printers require a Type A to B which is an industry standard 25 D plug to 36 Centronics plug type cable. However, in more recent times the micro 36 pin Centronics connector is being used. Features:
