Centre Contacts Female contacts: Copper allay with silver plate finish. ‘Male contacts: High tensil brass with silver plate finish. Seals Polythene insulation — nitrile rubber. PTFE insulation — silicone rubber. Sealing Series 100 connectors are interface sealed when mated, and bulkhead types are supplied with panel seals. Where appropriate, sealing conforms to the requirements of BS 9210 i.e. leakage rate of 1 cm’ /hr max with a pressure differential of ]OOKN/m? (at ambient temperature.) Working Temperature Moulded Polythene insulation — -40° to +70°C. PIFE insulation -55° to +150°C.
