The DSE334 is an Autom atic Transfer Sw itch C ontroller. The DSE334 w ill m onitor the voltage and frequency of the incom ing AC supply from tw o different sources, w hich could be from both generator or m ains (utility), or a com bination of both. The m odule w ill m onitor S1 (source 1 ) and in the event of a failure w ill issue a start com m and to S2 (source 2). O nce S2 is available and producing an output w ithin lim its, the m odule w ill control the transfer device and sw itch the load from S1 to S2. O nce the S1 supply returns to w ithin lim its, the m odule w ill com m and a load return to S1 and shut dow n S2. Various tim ing sequences are available to prevent nuisance starting on m inor supply breaks. The DSE334 supports m any topologies and features include m ains (utility) rated volt-free relays, a clear back-lit LC D 4-line text display, show ing system status and w arnings and red and green LEDs indicating operational status. The m odules can be easily configured using the DSE C onfiguration Suite PC Softw are. Selected front panel editing is also available. C onfigurable volt-free digital inputs and outputs m ake the DSE334 fully flexible to suit a w ide variety of applications.
