The Edgecore EPS202 is a high-performance Gigabit Ethernet L2/L3 switch featuring 54 ports; the EPS202 has 48 x 10/100/1000BASE-T ports, 4 x 10G/25G SFP28 uplink ports, and 2 x 100G QSFP28 stacking ports (stacking capability subject to NOS implementations); plus the 48 x 10/100/1000BASE-T ports fully support IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3bt Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). The EPS202 is ideal as an access PoE switch for enterprise access networking or campus access networking. The switch includes redundant hot-swappable AC PSUs and 2+1 redundant fan trays with front-to-back airflow, and has the ability to provide up to 90 Watts (depending on the PoE power budget) of power per port to attached devices, such as VoIP phones, wireless access points, surveillance cameras etc, fully utilizing existing Cat. 6 cable infrastructure. This open network switch is loaded with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), which supports the installation of compatible Network Operating System (NOS) soſtware, including the open source options and commercial NOS offerings.
